Also, note the criticisms of Disney's misrepresenting history for corporate profit.

No summary of "Class Dismissed" will be posted. Take notes on the argument that a class war exists (and who initiated it), the reshaping of the American dream (and who reshaped it), the 5 attributes of the working class emphasized by media.

Also, note the primary reason for such stereotypes in media (they distract us from the public reality of working class lives) -- and the concept of class consciousness (whether a person understands herself/himself as an economic, political and cultural actor).
